GET INVOLVED!
St. Willibrord wouldn’t be the church it is today if it weren’t for the countless volunteers who have helped since the church began. We are honoured to have a wide range of people of different ages sharing their talent to help the St. Willibrord Community and beyond. We are always on the lookout for some fresh hands to help us fulfill the mission God has placed into this church.
We are always looking volunteers in the following services: • Altar server • Soup kitchen • Children’s Catechism (Sunday school) • Children’s Bible camp • Choir • Putting together Christmas baskets (In December) • Photographers • Light Maintenance • Helping in the bazaars and other fundraising initiatives • RCIA • Cooking - for parish luncheons and other activities
Greeters
Just to name a few.
We are also open to suggestions about starting new ministries that aren’t mentioned in the list above.
If you have a talent that you want to share, please contact the Church office and Yvonne will be more than happy to connect you with the person in charge of your interest. Even if you don’t know where your talents lie but you want to help out anyway, contact her and she’ll connect you to someone help you.
Whether you are a student, a busy Mom, a full time worker with a few hours every now and then, or if you are retired and have lots of time on your hands, we would be more than happy to have you join the tradition.
Contact us at the church rectory and let’s work together to create an even better St. Willibrord Community.
