Bible Camp

“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119 : 105)

Our camp provides exciting programming that is aimed to bring children and young adults to relationships with Jesus Christ.  At the same time we encourage our campers to be active community members, explore their questions of faith and build friendships in a safe and warm atmosphere.  Our camp is a great way to break from daily routines and experience summer in a way that they will never forget. Our goal is to show campers that Jesus can provide the much needed answers to the problems of today’s youth.

This year’s summer camp ran from June 28 to July 2, 2010, under the leadership of our Children’s Liturgy Director Hélène Di Lallo.  This year’s theme was “Calling all Heroes” in which the kids participated in re-enactments of Bible stories, daily swimming activities, a pilgrimage to St. Joseph’s Oratory, sing-a-longs with music by our Pastor Fr. Stephen Otvos, a family barbecue and, to top it all off, a show by a Magician to help the children learn about God in a new and fun way.  We hope that the impact of the teachings and the friendships from this week will last throughout their lives!
